This is a collection of selections from Earth, Wind & Fire. I was thinking about the songs that I love to hear, particularly because of Maurice White’s contributions. Like a lot of people, I grew up hearing Earth, Wind & Fire’s music in our home, our vehicles, my Walkman, Discman, iPod, dorm room, apartment and now my family’s home. The legacy musicians can create is phenomenal. When we depart the planet in body, we can leave behind artifacts that tell future generations who we are and what we stood for. Long live Maurice White.
