Movers & Groovers,
From time to time I play what some would call jazz. Jazz is my favorite musical style. It is the basis of every American musical genre, which I can prove to you but I won’t go into that right now. Jazz gives you the range of free range and that’s why I love it. You play what you feel in your soul when you play jazz. At some point I’d like to put together a trio…I already know I’ll play keys and I have a bass player. Haven’t found the right drummer yet though…hopefully sooner than later. Download this and do whatever with it, email it to your friends or whatever you choose to do with it. If you don’t like it, delete it…I’ll never know the difference!

Movers & Groovers,
This mix is inspired by none other than Michael Jackson himself. I wanted to do something different with this though. When he died on June 25, 2009 I got on uStream and played his music for three straight hours and people came and watched and shared stories and it was a great day in spite of the sadness most of his fans were feeling.
I decided to put songs in this mix that I feel are not mentioned enough when speaking on MJ’s legacy. Some of the songs include:
We’re Almost There
Get It Together
Enjoy Yourself
This Place Hotel
Sugar Daddy
Darling Dear
Liberian Girl
It’s Too Late To Change The Time
That’s What You Get (For Being Polite)
This Time Around
Baby Be Mine
Dangerous
Heaven Can Wait
Push Me Away
There are more songs than those but I just want you to know: this is about MJ’s music. It ranges from solo work to work with his brothers but I wanted to expose people to MORE of the music than the typical MJ songs that we all know.
Download at the picture or right HERE. I believe you will enjoy yourself, just sit back and listen to this. It’s a large file but I stand by the work within it.

Movers & Groovers,
Above you see my Pops and I keeping it funky in the tuxedos. For the most part, I owe my love of music to my Pops. I remember sitting thumbing through his records just to look at the covers as a little kid. As I got older, I was thumbing through them to enjoy the music on the wax and maybe get lucky and find a sample that I could use and make something funky with it! God bless my Pops for everything he’s ever gave me INCLUDING his record collection. Remember kids, keep your fingers off the grooves and hold the wax by the edges! Take care of your music and it will take care of you!
This mix is comprised of music that my Pops will enjoy so if you don’t enjoy it, that’s fine with me BUT I bet you will. Give this a spin as you get your day together on Father’s Day or any other day for that matter. For all of you reading this and your father has gone on to the other side, may God bless you and keep you. My mother’s father is gone these days so I understand the pain that loss may cause but be encouraged! You can make it if you try!
The Peace,
Mr. Kinetik
PS Pops I love you.
Movers & Groovers,
Anyone that knows me knows that MF DOOM is one of my favorite emcees AND producers EVER. I’m pretty sure these are blends BUT it’s DOOM so I don’t care either way. I also don’t care if it’s been out and I missed it because it is DOOM. Basically, DOOM is ill and it doesn’t matter when you hear it because it will still be DOOM and therefore it will be ill.
IF it is a DOOM project THEN it will be ILL.
Get it HERE…and if you’re feeling brave get Special Blends too…

Movers & Groovers,
Well since the Celtics were destroying the Magic, I decided to cook up something on Planet LoveTron. Kanye’s got a new song out and I’m sure many other people will do edits but I wanted to do one for myself. I’ll definitely play this when I spin.

Movers & Groovers,
I bring to you a mix inspired by a conversation with my homeboy Ryan (Shouts to my brotha!) and he came to Planet LoveTron and helped make the mix happen. That’s my brotha, show love to him for his efforts. A solid hour of cuts for you to get your game face on. You don’t have to be in college to have a drink…or a drink once an hour.

Movers & Groovers,
I was sitting in a club and a song came on. I had the idea to update the song and tell a true story about these days and times. This joint is on Saving All The Good Beats For Myself originally released in 2009 (mostly recorded in 2008 with one song done in 2007) and I love this joint. It is honest and hilarious and sad all at once. Enjoy.
The Peace,
Mr. Kinetik
RIP Biggie Smalls. I made this mix last year, one of the first mixes I made after a long time away from making mixes. It’s a collection of joints that I like but I bet you’ll like em too.
Peace,
Mr. Kinetik
Movers & Groovers,
Some people ask me what projects have I done and this one has been on the site for awhile but here’s a post to make it easier for folks to grasp. I produced the whole record with a few outside beats (an 88-Keys record and a Devin The Dude cut) and this is really my 2nd effort on my own. Ebony & Ivory was the first joint I did. Download and enjoy BOTH of em.
Peace,
Mr. Kinetik
